The drain pump does not kick on but we tested the pump and is working. Would the main pcb be bad?
For model number wt1101cw
Hi Samuel,
Thank you for your question. If the drain pump is checking out okay, then the issue could be with the pcb assembly. You will need to test it with a multimeter to see if it is causing the issue. You may also need to check the wiring as well. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Washing machine displayed an ie error code. Hoses, filters, etc... were all checked. currently the machine continues to run even if you turn the power off. i believe it's an electronics problem rather than a plumbing problem. any advise?
For model number WT1101CW
Hello Jason, thank you for your question. The IE code is in reference to a water inlet issue. I would suggest checking the water inlet valve first, as that could be the problem. If the valve is tested and is functioning correctly, the issue may be with the electronic control board or the wire harness that runs from the valve to the board. I hope this helps!

The pump is continuously running when the washing machine is on and not allowing the tub to fill. The pump is running even without running a cycle. I get error code ie, but it is not an inlet or siphon problem (I have checked both). The pump and filter are clear. Is the most likely broken part the main electronic control board, the pump, or both? Thanks- George
For model number WT1101CW
Hi George, Thank you for the question. If there are no kinks or clogs in the hoses, You will need to check the water pressure going to the appliance. You can also test the valve and the pump with a Multi Meter and check for resistance and continuity. Hope this helps!

I have an LG top load washing machine. It seems to get stuck in the spin cycle. The water will all be gone but it just continues to spin. A 20 min spin cycle takes an hour or more. Sometimes we have to just turn the machine off to cancel the cycle. Is this most likely a control board issue. Is there other things i should check first.
For model number Wt1101cw
Hi Ben,
Thank you for your question. If the washer is stuck on the spin cycle, the issue is likely with the electronic control board and you will need to check it with a multimeter to verify if it is causing the issue.
I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

MACHINE WAS NOT WORKING RIGHT THOUGHT I NEEDED A NEW CONTROL BOARD
Was getting 1E problem and washer was taking forever to do a load. Moved washer away from wall and disconnected hoses, Checked the filters and cold water filter had some junk in it. But the supply 1/4 turn valve from the wall was the problem. It was broken in that the ball valve in it would not turn so the water from the cold side was very limited. Put in new valve and it works fine now.

Simple Replacement - identical OEM part
I recently replaced the PCB on my LG washer because it would not power on. In fact it kept tripping my GFI receptacle each time I tried. It would have cost $350 to replace the $699 washer if I had a service call So I decided to do it myself. Glad I did because it was simple. It only required a Phillips head screw driver to remove maybe a dz screws. The PCB was an identical match and appeared to be an OEM part. Total repair time about 30 minutes. The part arrived as described and in perfect shape.
