I don't want to replace the water filter. I believe i can simply remove the original filter and move on, but i also see there are filter caps. What do i really need to do to simply bypass using a filter?
thanks!
For model number RF28JBEDBSR
Hello Jason, Thank you for the question. There is no bypass needed. Just remove the filter and it will automatically bypass the water filter. Hope this helps!

So, I read that the water filter can removed and the system will bypass the filter. I want to permanently remove the filter and I am wondering if there is a cap that I can put in the same place as the filter so that there isn't a big gap in the fridge?
For model number RF28jbedbsg
