Is this the thermostat i need for my refrigerator? The refrigerator is freezing.
For model number Rf28hmedbsr/aa
Hello Sam, thank you for your question. That thermostat is compatible part for your appliance. If the fridge section is freezing I would suggest checking the temperature sensors as well as the damper assembly to make sure it is opening and closing properly. It may be allowing too much cold air into the fridge section. I hope this helps!

Ice build up on the refrigerator make it not cooling
For model number RF26HFENDSR/aa
Hi Jean, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the defrost thermostat, PartSelect Number: PS4140510. The best way to do this is to remove the thermostat from the refrigerator so you can control the temperature of the sensor. You can let the sensor warm up to room temperature. With the sensor warmed up to room temperature the sensor should read approximately 6.2K Ohms at 68°F. With the thermistor submerged is a glass full of ice water, the sensor should be very close to 32°F which should read approximately 16.3K Ohms. If the values that you are getting are far off from these readings, then the sensor is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps!

My freezer is not cooling while the refrigerator cools. The freezer fan works, evaporator coil has no frost, defrost sensor is working.
For model number RF323TEDBSRAA
Hello John, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would recommend replacing the freezer temperature sensor, part number PS4138666. It senses the temperature inside the freezer and sends information to the electronic control. Glad to be of assistance!
Samsung Defrost Thermostat #DA47-00243K removed and tested. The thermostat appears to be in the close position because it passes the continuity test whether hot or freezing.
