Frozen timer
1. Remove three screws from back of dryer
2. Tilt top panel forward and disengage
3. Swapped wiring one by one from old timer to new timer
4. Reinstall

The new timer worked so well that even the old, broken knobs could turn it. But I replaced the knobs anyway.

Customer service was great in helping me verify that this timer would work on this dryer (my model number was not listed on the website).

Dryer wouldn't turn on
I took the top back panel off the dryer and left the broken timer still connected to the wires, I then took the wires off one-by-one to match the connections on the new timer. Be sure to not pull the wires by hand , use pair of needle nose to grab the wire by the connector itself, wiggle gently to pull off the wires. Job took about 10 minutes, very easy.

Timer control inoperative.
Unplugged dryer from power source. Unscrewed holding plate (1-screw) and back plate (5-screws). Took photo of old timing unit while it was still mounted on the dryer to show wire correct wire connections. Used needle nose pliers to remove connecting wires one at a time from old timing unit and attached them to new timing unit. Reinstalled back plate and holding plate.
