The splash guard can become worn out over time and may need to be replaced. Make sure to disconnect the power before beginning your repair. This part is 3.75 inches in length, 3.75 inches in width, 0.75 inches in height and weighs 0.119 lbs. Remove the drain pipe from the disposal, and turn the mounting ring. Remove the old cover with a screwdriver and place the new one into place.
