My dryer does not shut off and I have to unplug it. Also, it does not have any heat. I checked the igniter continuity for the igniter, the thermostat, and the fuse. All three have continuities. Can you you help?

Thanks for your question. You may also want to consider testing the flame sensor and the thermistor for electrical continuity.

Did not heat
Called Parts Select and assisted me in proper parts needed. Drier works as new.
Took out drum. Found all parts easy to locate. Found defective part and replaced with new one.

Good part worked perfectly
Part solved the problem with heating

Easy repair, fixed the overheating issue.
The part arrived in 3 days and the repair was super easy. The 4+ year old thermostat was not tripping causing the high temp thermostat to constantly trip. I ended up replacing both thermostats, the moisture sensor bars, and the thermistor since I had the dryer taken apart and one of these was bound to go next.
