The refrigerator lights stay on when the doors are closed (smart phone video proves this), this is not consistent, but happens many times during a 24 hour period. Other symptoms are that the lights do not come on at all, doors shut or open. The refrigerator evaporator fan cycles off when the doors are open, and turn on when they are closed regardless of the light operation. This leads me to believe that the central electronic controller is to blame. Door switches seem to work. Refrigerator temperature and freezer temperature are fine. Hot condition on the top shelf of the refrigerator near the lights, when the lights stay on.

Hello Mark, Thank you for your inquiry. You can check the control boards with a multimeter to see if they have continuity. I would also make sure that the condenser coils and evaporator coils are clean and not frost covered. Hope this helps!

My control panel in the door will not work . Everything is freezing in the refrigerator. Will this part help. Or can you give me a suggestion that I might try.
