Inside light would not go off
Ordered part from part select. Received part with out instructions. It took only one screwdriver for 1 screw removal and then removing cover to replace switch. Pretty simple

This model comes with two switches. Is it likely that both failed at once and I need to replace two switches?

Thank you for the question. Yes the manufacture does suggest replacing both switches at the same time.

The refrigerator light went off (not the freezer side), I measured the refrigerator' side switch with a multimeter and it's connecting the two circuits for light and open door indicator, any idea what could be the problem? If i short the switch shouldn't turn the light on if it's the problem? .... the door open indicator sound still working with no problem on both sides.

The two bulbs are okay and i see the filament in a good condition, i don't think the two went out at the same time, any other board or fuse in between the switch and the bulbs? I see another wire next to the switch with something covered in white plastic that has the same shape as a fuse. I can't find the circuit diagram for this fridge to trace the problem
