If the tubing is in working order, but is hanging loose inside the unit, the issue could be that the clip meant to hold it in place is broken. If this is the case, you should look to replace the clip. This clip is made of black plastic, and is just over half an inch long. This is a genuine OEM replacement part, and is sold separately.

Frost in the freezer. Icemaker frozen.
I called LG and followed the instructions given over the phone. The instructions couldn't have been simpler. Disconnect the appliance for several hours and then connect again. I disconnected the appliance overnight, cleaned out the freezer, and reconnected it. Problem solved. Did not need to call a repairman and did not use the clips.
