light was not working
Disassemble Washing Machine Panels: 1) Take off top (three hex nuts at back), 2) Take out soap dispenser drawer by pushing on rear tab, 3) Take off front top control panel (Phillip screws) and 4) unplug connector at back of circuit board, 5) Take off bottom panel (three hex screws), 6) Remove large wire spring clamp around gasket, Roll ga

Unhook the two white push connectors along wire where they mount to sheet metal. This is where the wiring becomes more fussy. The wires are bundled with the other wires and need to be pushed out away from others and then unplugged at the end in the secondary control panel. Not a lot of room. Replace with new LED lamp part and reassemble in reverse. NOTE: If you want to save yourself a ton of time making it a 10 minute job next time the LED light burns out, install two bullet style male/female wiring connectors next to the clear plastic tube. Next time all you will have to do is release the door seal, unplug the connectors, cut your new LED light wires and install bullet connectors on it and plug in to the red and black wires. A 10 minute job max next time!

Hi Nancy,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we have no information on how to install this part specifically. However I do have a video on how to get to your door boot. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7J3RqONy4pw . I would suggest taking a look at this video. It shows you how to get to the inside of your appliance in the place that you need to be. Good luck with your repair.
