Is this the defrost timer

Hi Glenn, Thank you for the question. Yes, technically this would be the defrost control. This model number does not have a timer so the board controls the defrost. Hope this helps!

The controls on the freezer door for the water/ice dispensing and the temperature controls are not working. There are no lights on the panel. The freezer light , ice maker, and freezer are working but the controls do not. What part do i need to repair this?

Make sure that the display is not locked by pressing and holding the lock button for 10 seconds, also try unplugging and plugging the fridge back in to test the dispenser control board. For your model, the dispenser control board and controls come as an assembly part# WR55X23240. You can also try checking it to see if it's faulty. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question. There are a couple of questions that you could check. I would suggest first checking your your thermostats, your run capacitor, and your start relay. I would check all of those parts first but if they are all testing fine, it may be your control board that is the issue. Good luck with your repair.

The refrigerator and freezer work perfectly but the control panel display, works at times and not at others. It is random
I replaced the panel with a new one and continued the same problem.Colud you help me to know where is the problem?

Water dispenser not working. All other dispenser functions: Ice, light, indicators, and temperature controls are working fine. The full ice maker suggests the main water feed/filter is good. Confirmed no frozen line by disconnecting the union connector, closing the door, and activating the water switch. No water flow through disconnected tubing. I suspect the issue is faulty main control board assembly (p/n: Ps3496898 / wr55x11072). The less likely cause is dispenser control panel/board. Please let me know what you think.

It does sound like a faulty main control board, but before you go ahead and change it do try a hard reset if you have not already done so.
Go to your breaker box and shut the breaker for your unit, wait five minutes and turn the breaker back on. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

My fridge mod is GSS25QGTAWW, it has the board WKKT 1304-03-00A, I searched I found the board WR55X11072 looks the same as the one my fridge has. Comments?

Hi, Please let me know after install main control board is it automatic turn on compressor, condenser and evaporator fan on? or i have to the setting at the front control board to set temperature to turn on compressor, condenser and evaporator fan because it is brand new never be programed.

Lights are on, nothing else works. Had ~6 hour power outage night before, power back on ~2:30 am. Noticed thawing that afternoon. Power surge damage? Is new main control board assembly likely to resolve problem?

Lights on inside refridgerator, and nothing else working.
Unplugged the unit. Removed the back panel, unplugged the existing circuit board. Replaced it. Plugged in the circuit board. And done!!! All is great! Like new. I also watched the recommended video for replacement. I am not mechanically inclined. But was very HAPPY to have repaired the problem for about the same cost of a service call!
