I purchased a house containing 3 of GE electronic air conditioners, model number AEL10AQQ2. The air filters are caked with dirt and debris. Can these be cleaned or should they be replaced with new ones? If cleaned, how do I go about it? If replaced, how do I order new ones and at what cost? Thanks.

Thank you for your question. The filter can be cleaned. Clean the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse and let the filter dry before replacing it. The filter should not be cleaned in a dishwasher. If you would prefer to get a new filter instead of cleaning the current one that you have now, The part number for a new filter is PS3496880. Our current cost for the filter is $8.03.
