The machine will randomly stop at various points in the cycle. Sometime this happens when we first press the start button and other times at any points in the cycle. It will then have all the lights on much like it is waiting to press start. If you then press start it will start the cycle over after draining. What is the most likely culprit?

Hi Bryce, Thank you for the question. Sounds like there is a issue with the timer that controls the cycles. The timer on this model is built into the control board so the board will need to be replaced.Hope this helps!

My washer stops when it gets to the rinse cycle. I can manually rinse cycle and manually spin but it does not automatically do it. Will the control board solve this problem?

Hi Mike, Thank you for the question. This is caused by a defective timer switch. The timer on this model is built into the board, so the board Part Number: PS3487291 will need to be replaced. Hope this helps!

I push the start button, all lights across front panel flash on, then all go off except for the 'fill' button. It keeps blinking. No water enters the machine. Will the control board (part #35) most likely remedy the problem? Thank you.

Hi Mary, Thank you for your question. There are a couple of parts that could actually be causing that issue for you. I would suggest checking your pressure switch and your valve as well. Those would be the most likely parts that would cause that issue. You can test them with a multimeter. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I have taken the machine apart and the module above the motor blinks 10 time in a row and then repeats. Indicates communication problem, the washer fills but does not agitate or spin.If i move the far right control it will empty. Is that a problem with the system of the control panel or motor assembly

Hello Donald, thank you for your question. That is most likely and issue with the board itself. I hope this helps.

My washer doesn't fill, sounds like the pump is running to drain. Could this be a board issues or something else?
PartSelect logo
Hi Craig, Thank you for your question. If the washer is not filling with water, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the inlet hoses and screens, the water inlet valve, the lid switch, the select switch or water temperature switch if present, the water level pressure switch if present and the timer or electronic control board. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
