The washer makes noise on the spinning cirle , a grinding sound
For model number wtw5520sq0
Hello Glaston, thank you for your question. There are a few parts we would recommend checking. The parts are Clutch Assembly Part Number: 285785 Direct Drive Motor Coupling Part Number: 285753A, Drive Block - 2 5/16" High Part Number: WP389140. The coupling and the clutch usually will have visual damage which would indicate they need to be replaced. The drive block and bearing would be inspected by removing the agitator and inner tub. I hope this helps!

The washing machine starts it cleaning cycle out by spinning constantly clockwise along with some loud grinding sound. I've taken apart and inspected the motor - transmission couplings are not broken. Thought it might be neutral drain so I replaced that in the gear case and it still does the same thing. Wondering if it's deeper in the gear case or might it be the timer stuck in spin but trying to agitate?
