Freezer is working and defrosting. Damper is staying closed manually opened and it closed back on its on. Main control board was replaced due to cleaning outside with pressure washer and gasket was not installed properly. How can I test to see if damper control board is bad or temp control?

Hi John, Thank you for the question. You can test to see if there is power going to the damper with a voltage meter. If the damper has power and is not opening upon its own, I recommend replacing the damper.Hope this helps!

refrigerator works great then every so often the freezer gets to 40 degrees and thaws all the food. Nothings running when its 40 degrees in freezer. Unplug fridge and plug it back in and everything works great. Could it be a thermostat issue? I checked the Ohms on the freezer sensor and it was good.
