Nice product
The part was just what I needed when I discovered my 25 year old frig was making really yucky ice. My wife and I had given up using the ice as we were no longer drinking and the auger had gotten rusty as well as the support bucket. Your replacement was a snap for GE refrig with just 4 screws to fasten. We now have ice for those friends and relatives that want it. Thanks again.

Ice Bucket Repair
Part arrived faster than I thought it would and in perfect condition.
Before ordering I watched the on line video which was very instructive and influenced me to order the entire bucket rather than do it yourself parts. Took about 15 minutes to swap the front panel and install the new bucket and auger. Could not be easier.
I wish every repair was this easy!
Hope I have the chance to purchase from you again. Thanks for great service.

It got here in a timely fashion, and worked as intended
The back of the old ice bucket and the collar were broken at the rear, so I could have ordered just these two parts to save half the cost. This would have required a less than simple disassembly and reassembly of the auger to install the new pieces. Buying the auger and ice bucket assembly made it a simple job. It only required the removal of three screws to remove and reinstall the existing front cover and door assembly to the new auger and ice bucket assembly. Whole job took about 10 minutes.

Perfect replacement!
My Mother's refrigerator, which she refuses to part with, desperately was in need of a new auger and ice bucket as the original (Circa 1980) had become quite rusty. This replacement part was identical to the original, sans the rust and wear, and took 2 minutes to replace. Bravo!!

Freezer was defrosting
I watched "Steve" do the repair on your video, and that made the job that much easier to do. I'm very pleased with how well the job turned out.
Appartently, ordered wrong auger & bucket assembly. Bucket was to wide.
Since I really needed to replace the deteriating auger I used the original ice bucket and transferred the new auger assembly into the old ice bucket. Looked complicated at first, but make it work and my refrigerator is now making nice clean ice. It would have taken a lot longer if I sent the new bigger ice bucket back and it was my fault.

Ice was discolored due to rust on auger
Removed the old assembly from the refrigerator. Used a screwdriver to remove the four screws attaching the old assembly to the plastic front plates. Opened the box holding the new part (which had arrived very promptly at our doorstep), removed it and attached it very easily to the plastic front plates using the same four screws. Placed th

Ice maker crushed all ice and would not make cubes. Pushing the switch and changing to cubes did not work.
Removed old ice bucket with auger. Unscrewed front plates that form the front of the ice bucket. Replaced the front plates on the new part (ice bucket and auger). Replaced new assemblage. It took about 20 minutes. Had to empty ice out and put in a temporary cooler for storage. Bigger problem than the repair was diagnosing what was wrong
... Read more. Pushed disagnose button and it said ice maker was working normallly. Careful examination of the ice bucket removed from refrigerator showed spring out of place on long metal rod that protrudes from the back of the ice bucket and fits into a square hole in back of refrigerator. Examined other end of rod that engages with plastic parts that run the ice auger and ice crusher mechanism. A piece must have broken off. That was the problem. Refrigerator ice maker now works fine as originally designed. Push crudh the ice crusher engages and you get crused ice. Push cubes and the icemaker crusher slides out of the way and you get cubes.

Replace oxidized auger and Ice bucket assembly
Very simple replacement of complete assembly. I debated replacing individual parts that would have taken considerable effort. Ordered the complete assembly and it was simple to replace.Removal of face plate by removing two Philips screws and reusing them to hold face plate on. Jim

Replace auger and ice bucket assembly
Luckily I found the partselect.com. Received my order in 2 days. All I had to do was replace the old auger and ice bucket with the new one using 4 screws. I was surprised how easy the job was!
Ice bucket Auger was rusting and getting the ice dirty.
Removed the old ice bucket from the freezer and placed the ice in a plastic bag to reuse. Removed the ice bucket front cover by removing six (6) screws. Installed the old front cover to the new ice bucket by using four (4) screws. Replaced the new ice bucket in the freezer and filled it with the ice. Also replaced the water filter. Th

Ice bucket with auger became over frozen, and when auger turned, snapped the back cover/nut that stabilized auger being off kilter, began leaking thru opening even though cover is intact. looks like the back wall of the bucket and rear auger cover/nut needs replaced. please advise.
