Propeller Fan Blade

This air conditioner propeller fan blade is used to pull air through the filter and over the cold evaporator coils. The cool air is then re-circulated into the room. If you notice that your air conditioner is not blowing cold air, is making a loud sound, or if there is ice forming over the evaporator coils, check to make sure the propeller fan is in working order. If the fan blade is broken, cracked, or badly bent, look to replace the part. However, if the issue is an accumulated dirt or ice buildup, clear the debris or ice and test the unit again.
