My dryer runs but there is absolutely no heat. There are no blockages in the vent. What is the part I should be looking at? Thermostat?
For model number DDE7200SBLWW
Hi Aletha, Thank you for the question. There are a few parts you will need to test with a Multimeter to determine the defective part. First I suggest the three thermostats on the Element housing, Part Number: PS268245,PS268250 and PS268083. If they are all testing good then you will need to test the element its self and the two thermostats on the front of the appliance, Part Number: PS268248 and Part Number: PS268249. Hope this helps!

Dryer got hot works some time sometimes not there is still a lot of lint on the front were heating element is cant get to it what part should i.Change it comes on some then goes back off
For model number DBL3600SBLWH
Hello Tony, Thank you for the question. If you have a lot of Lint, I suggest cleaning out the lint ducks and opening up the cabinet of the dryer and cleaning it out. You may also need to clean out the exhaust pipe. With lint build up it can block air flow and cause it to over heat. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
