Will not stay running, if i turn the start switch, dryer starts but will not stay running unless i hold the start button to the on position. I replaced the start button still the same situation

Hello Dan,
Thank you for your interesting question. If replacing your Start Switch did not fix the issue, then perhaps it is actually your Interlock Switch that is causing your appliance to not stay running. The Interlock Switch lets your appliance know that the door is securely locked. If it is shorting out during cycles, your appliance will think that the door is open and stop. You can test that part with a multi-meter to see if the part is not working.
I hope that helps!
