Be a hero... you can install this
My wife was ready to tear our microwave out because the turn table stopped working. Ordered up this little motor fixed the issue, and now she thinks I'm a genius.
Do not pull up on the turntable impeller, just remove the screws from the motor, and the motor will simply drop down. Plug in the new one, and reinstall... it's not a tough job, and yet, you will look like a master technician.

Microwave turntable motor works great
I received the part in good condition when I expected to receive it. Installation was easy. There is a good video online that you can find by googling for it. I believe that the video was produced by GE. Search for "replace ge microwave turntable motor" or use the link below.

Easy Repair
The part arrived safely and was easy to install. The difficult part was getting all the screws out of the bottom of the microwave and getting them back in. There were seven screws.

How do I replace the turntable motor in the microwave?
For model number PVM9195SF1SS
Hi Howard, Thank you for the question. When working with microwaves you much be careful as they can hold a charge when they are not plugged in. You will need to remove the glass tray and the plastic coupling from the inside of the microwave. Next you will need to remove the screws from the under side of the unit. The panel will swing downward to expose the turn table motor. Disconnect the wire from the motor by pulling them off. The motor will be held in place by a screw and tabs, remove the screw and turn the motor until it releases from the tabs holding it in place. Reverse the steps to reinstall the new motor. Hope this helps!
