I have had trouble with my oven not lighting and every time i clean it, it works for about 2 weeks and then cuts out again. The igniter is working perfectly and i was wondering if this would fix it.

Thank you for your question. If your oven is not lighting, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. I am looking to replacing the burner control knob (acts eratic or wont turn on sparker) : its the right front burner 2nd control in on the right stove top.
What is the part number of the valve and how do i get the top off for access to it . This is a frigidaire stove s/n VF23637429

Hi Rich, thank you for reaching out. The parts you are looking for are the burner control knob, part number PS2581846, and the valve, part number PS2359010. To remove the top, first, unplug the unit. Remove the grates and burner caps. Unthread the screws attaching the burners to the main top. Insert a putty knife into the gap between the main top and the panel and pry it up. We hope this helps!
