The debris may be a result of food or grease buildup. You will need to remove the burner from the stovetop and clean it in warm soapy water. Use a stiff brush to remove the debris and give it a thorough cleaning. You may also have to use a pin or a toothpick to clean any debris found in the holes. We hope this helps!
