All of the top elements werer burned out except for the 11 inch
Looked up the OEM part numbers and obtained the correct parts. Learning from past mistakes I took pictures of the wiring for each element so I didn't have to depend on my almost 70 year old memory. The large burner turns on and gets hot and after a minute it turns off. What is wrong with it? Thanks
For model number JB630DF4WW
Hello Fikret,
Thanks for your question. You may want to test the element switch along with the temperature sensor and the element itself. Use a multimeter to see if these parts have continuity and replace them if they do not show continuity.
I hope this helps.
Does the replacement part include the temp sensor components hooked to the 8 in element?
For model number J B400D P5WWW
Hello Glenn, thank you for your question. The 8 inch element for your specific model is actually part number Radiant Element - 8" Part Number: WB30T10132. This element comes with the sensing probe that goes from the box on the side of the element in to the middle of the circular element. I hope this information helps!
