Starter glows, burner does not come on, if i tape by the valve it comes on.

Thank you for your question. I would suggest testing your igniter with a multi meter to see if that part is working correctly. Just in case. If that part is fine, you may have to replace your valve. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Stove was working fine, went to use it next evening, neither surface burners or oven would ignite. Spark appears normal for surface burners and oven ignitor also glows (was replaced a year ago). Is this most likely the safety or pressure valve?
