My freezer constantly beeps and the door ajar light is on. The door is closed but the alarm keeps going off. What is it?

Hello Edward, Thank you for the question. This alarms goes off when the temperature is rising and thinks the door is open. If the door is closed securely and the gasket is not worn or damaged, we suggest checking the Evaporator Fan Motor to see if it is running normally and circulating the cold air. We also suggest testing the Thermistor. You can test the resistance of the Thermistor with a multi meter. There should be a tech sheet behind the bottom front grill indicating what your model refrigerator's Thermistor should test as. We hope this helps!
