Part works as expected and the repair was very easy.
I spent hours searching for a repair person and no one in our area touches GE products. I finally found someone 60+ miles away and they were not available for two weeks. I did a little internet search and found a video on how to repair my dryer. Thank you Parts Select for having available parts that our local guy said were hard to get.

The part works as advertised. Thanks for the troubleshooting guide. This was what I suspected it to be, but your recommendation made me feel better for purchasing this switch.

Dryer work but wouldn’t shut off when finished cycle, had to shutoff from breaker
With a thin flat screwdriver I was able to pry out the old door switch, I replaced it with the new door switch, pushed back in dryer and so far is working since I installed a month ago.
