Long wait for an "in-stock" part
Part was listed as in-stock when ordered. Never arrived with 2nd item I had ordered. Called Customer Service and was told that system still showed it in-stock, but they had ordered it and were waiting for it to come in. After a 2 week wait, part arrived loose in a mailing envelope with a sticker wrapped around it that I have yet been able to get the adhesive off of after using Goo Gone. Missing crisper drawer support post
I recently bought an old Amana refrigerator for my garage on CraigsList for 75 bucks. It was in great condition for its age, but was missing the post that supports the fruit and veggie crisper drawers. I did a Google search, quickly found PartSelect, and just as quickly located and ordered the missing part, which was reasonably priced. PartSelect promised it woud be delivered in 3-5 days by FedEx Ground and it was. I took it out of the box, removed the crisper backets - and glass cover for them - installed the post and WHA-LA, the crisper backets work just as good as when the fridge was new! Couldn't have had an on-line mal-order operation go any slicker!

The plastic part just got old and crumbeled..so it wouldn't fit.
First I couldn't get it back..due to eye problems so i gave it to my husband and he just did it in a flash..you set it under the glass and put the drawers or crispers back in and its done.

broken plastic parts
most parts snap in except for rollers that require a phillips head screw driver. The most amazing thing is the parts were available for a > 15 year old fridge.

Broken Framing for Crisper Drawer
Very easy to do -- removed a screw - pulled the broken center rail away and replaced with new one -- realigned the humidity control band - installed the new roller on the rail -- reassembled the unit and done!

Note to those ordering new rollers. The mounting screw for the roller is not in the bag -- apparently it's ordered separately -- very strange -- seems like they should come together.

broken support post
very easy.....
1. removed the food items from the shelf
2. raised the shelf and removed the broken support post
3. inserted the new support post and guided the drawer rails to rest in the new support slots
4. cleaned the glass shelf and replaced the food items
5. made my wife very happy now that the veg drawer opens and closed like new.
