My oven would not broil the top element didn't work, I put the old clock timer back in until I could get a new one, but then the 147 and cancel stop push pad buttons stopped working, today I put in my new clock timer in and top element is working, but the push pad buttons are still not working can it be the connections to clock timer of is it the push pad itself hope not this is getting expensive. Push pad is over 500. I think.

Hi Gary, Thank you for the question. This sounds like an issue with the wire harness that plugs into the control board assembly. Unfortunately the wire harness is only sold as part of the Control Panel with Touchpad - Stainless/Black, PartSelect Number: PS1529329. Hope this helps!

The plastic cover of the "control panel w/touchpad" has worn off. (I live at the beach and the salty air affects all surfaces) I do not need to replace the whole
panel just the cover.
I can send a picture.
