My ice maker is not working. The fill valve is never powered (I checked the voltage at the fill valve after manually starting the harvest cycle). The water dispenses at the door okay but the fill valve never supplies water to ice maker line. I thought the new ice maker would complete electrical request for fill water but after replacing, still dry. I also checked the fill valve continuity with good continuity on all 3 solenoids. Could this control board possibly be the culprit (to supply power to the fill valve when ice maker requests it?

Thanks for your question. It may also be an issue with the water filter - especially if it has been longer than 6 months since the last time it was changed. If that is not an issue, consider replacing the dispenser control board.

The water and ice dispenser work properly but they get power and lose power very rapidly. There are times is does like it should and has power the entire time. Then there are time is loses and gains power rapidly. Do you think the power dispenser board, the micro switch needs replacing or the power control board is bad.

When I plug in the ribbon from the Dispenser control board To the main board the ice dispenser comes on And stays on constantly like there's a dead short

Installation instructions?
Hi Carol, thank you for your question. The best way to install parts like this is to either take a photo of how your old board is wired so that you know where each wire goes. Or by taking one wire off at a time and installing it in the same place on the new board. Other than that, if you need more instructions you will either have to consult your manufacturer or a technician. Good luck with your repair.

No lights on the dispenser control panel.

Thank you for your question. If there are no lights on the control panel check the ribbon cable to see if it is properly fitted between the control panel and the dispenser control board.
