Does the price include one or two door gaskets? As this refrigerator has two separate doors. Second question, if this is the price for only one gasket, which door does this gasket fit? (left or right). Thanks
For model number KBFO42FTX03
Hi Micheal, this gasket is the inner door seal, and it can be installed on the right side or left side. This gasket is sold individually. I hope this helps, good luck with your repair!

To install replacement gaskets do the refrigerator doors and freezer doors need to come off or does it just slide on?
For model number KBFC42FTS00
Hello Michael, thank you for your question. This gasket is installed into a groove that goes around the frame of your door. To remove the part you just pull it out of the groove and to install the part you push it back into the groove. Good luck with your repair.

This refrigerator has french doors, do i need to purchase 2 gaskets? One for the left door and one for the right door? I think the seal is bad on both sides. Thank you.
For model number Kitchen aid kbfc42fts02
Hello Kate, thank you for inquiring. This Fresh Food Door Gasket is the correct replacement for your model, but you would need to purchase one for each side as they are sold individually.

The image of part number 8201809 shows screws but none of the answers to questions referred to the use of the screws. My refrigerator does not have any holding the gasket in place. What are the screws for?
For model number KBFO42FTX05
Hello Richard, thank you for getting in touch. The door gasket you mentioned comes with the screws, but the screws are not for holding the gasket in place. These are for the refrigerator door. In order to hold the gasket with the door, there is a groove present you just need to place the gasket around the door liner and press it underneath the door liner. Glad to be of help!

How do i install the door inner gasket, ps1518643
For model number KBFC42FTS04
Hello Jonathan, Thank you for your inquiry. There is a groove that goes around the frame of the door, and you would just need to insert the gasket into the groove. It is usually helpful to warm the gasket up first by immersing it in hot water or throwing it into a clothes dryer for a minute to make it more flexible. Hope this helps!

Does this gasket work for my model? Is it easy to install? Do you have a how-to video available?
For model number KBFC42FTS07
Hi Mary, Thank you for the question. The PS1518643 is the correct gasket in white for the model number provided. We do not have a video for this gasket as of yet, but the old gasket should just pull off and the new gasket just pushes into the channel around the outer edge of the door. Some previous customers have used a spoon to push the gasket into the channel. Hope this helps!
