My washer door was locked shut and i forced it open and a piece of plastic fell off. Is this the part i need or how do i even fix that.

Hello Arianna, Thank you for your inquiry. These are the little pegs that cushion the lid when you put it down against the top of the cabinet. There are two on each side of the lid. If your door was locked shut and you forced it, you may have broken a piece of the lid latch, part# WPW10619844. We do have a video to show you how to repair the lid latch, so you can also check it to see if this was the piece that broke off. I have included a link to the video. Hope this helps!
