This lower spray arm is a genuine OEM part for various makes and models of dishwasher and is sold as an individual part. This part attaches to the lower spray assembly of your dishwasher and the lower spray arm itself clips into this part to facilitate its spinning movement during the washing cycle. To replace it, remove the spray arm by pulling it out, remove the surrounding circular clip and then twist to remove this bit. Made completely of plastic, this part measures approximately 3-inches deep, 2-inches wide, and 3.125-inches tall.

Was not draining. Found blockage, tiny pc of plastic. Put it back together wrong pcs melted on heating element
So purchased new arm, trap and lower arm support and put in together correctly. Easy peasy all the parts snapped in place using no tools. I'm a 70 yr old gramma and no problem. Just wish I put it back together correctly the first time and saved myself the money. Never know what you can do until you try. Parts came super fast too.
Lower spray arm and arm support became loose fell on the hot coil and melted.
First let me say I love this company, I have used them before and I will use them again. Parts arrived quickly, unwrapped them, put the video supplied by this site on my phone and the entire project was done in less than ten minutes. My dishwasher works like new. Thank you !
Lower spray arm support vibrated out, melted lower spray arm.
Grab the tab on the support and rotate 1/4 turn counter-clockwise to unlock it, then lift it off. The lower spray arm simply pops off the support by spreading two tabs underneath.
Align the opening in the lower spray arm support with the outlet post in the bottom and rotate 1/4 turn clockwise to lock.

The repair was not the problem. The problem was getting the parts I ordered. When the parts finally shipped I had to wait for them because they just sat in a FedEx shipping warehouse for about a week delaying the repair.
I used the PartSelect repair video online to show me how to fix the dishwasher. I needed a spray arm and support. Excellent video made the repair quick and easy.

spray arm fell off and melted on element
The Spray arm and the support had come off during operation and subsequently melted on the heating element. This was our fault, as a knife had slipped through the lower dish-rack and acted as a ramp to launch the spray arm as it came around. The support was a simple 1/4 turn counter-clockwise until it clicked into place, drop the strain
