Ice maker not making ice. There is water flowing out of door and there is water in the ice maker unit. It froze partially but did not drop. Forced the drop by running unit diagnostic. 12 hours later there was water in unit but it did not freeze. Temp on door says 0 deg and confirmed with thermometer. Is the unit bad or something else?

No ice. The ice cube tray is filled with frozen water. Replace device?

Ice maker stopped making ice. I have city get water and i get a solid stream out of the water dispenser. Water in the ice maker is just water, not frozen. Temp.On control panel reads freezer part is 0 and frig part is 37. The food in the bottom two freezers have been and are solid.

Thank you for your question. If the freezer is reading 0 degrees F, then the water should have at least been turned to ice, let alone ice cubes. If the water isn't freezing then the temperature readings for your freezer and/or fridge are showing incorrect, thus a defective temperature sensor. The ice maker could possibly not be making ice if its detecting that the freezer is too warm to make ice to be gin with, thus replacing the temperature sensor would fix the issue, yours is under part PS304103 for your model. We suggest using a regular thermostat to verify the temperature of the fridge and freezer just to be sure, but if the readings show 0 degrees, the water should be freezing. Hope this helps!

My ice maker serial number is WR30X10150 has a replacement. In viewing the replacement the electrical connection appears to be coming our of the top of the unit. My unit electrical hook up is at the bottom of the maker. Aare they both electrical compatible?
