The washer agitator isn't spinning back and forth, nothing is broken inside that i can see, what what do i have to replace? How do i repair it?
Hello Veronica, thank you for inquiring. For this symptom you will want to consider either the Agitator, Agitator Directional Cogs, or the Direct Drive Motor Coupling, but we will need the washer's model number to locate the correct replacement parts.

For model number WTW48006XQ4
Hello Peter, thank you for your question. The first part I would recommend checking is the PartSelect Number: PS10057144 Washer Drive Pulley and clutch. The clutch assembly is mounted on the drive shaft on the bottom of your washer. You may need to replace the clutch assembly if the splines on the clutch assembly are stripped and the washer is making noise, or if you are having problems with the wash and spin cycles. You will need to access the bottom of the washer for this repair. It is easiest to if you disconnect your washer from both the water and power source, and lay it on its back. The clutch assembly contains 6 parts, and all are included with the kit. It is also important to change out the entire assembly, rather than individual pieces. I hope this helps!

For model number WTW4800XQ0
Good Day Lanette. Thank you for your question in regards to your unit (Model Number WTW4800XQ0). Based on our research, you may need to replace one or more of the following parts in order to solve the issue that you are having: 1) Agitator Directional Cogs (PartSelect Number PS388034). 2) Washer Drive Pulley (PartSelect Number PS10057144). 3) Agitator Cam Kit (PartSelect Number PS334648). 4) Drive Block - 2 5/16 Inch High (PartSelect Number PS11741977). 5) Drive Belt (PartSelect Number PS11747978). You can order these parts either online at our website www.PartSelect.com or by calling us by phone at 888-260-4310. Best Regards.
Hi John, I would try using the agitator repair kit PS334650 to see if that fixes your issue. The manual sadly wasn't much help with this but the agitator is the likely problem. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
