How to replace lid lock switch under washer lid-with out taking off entire dryer assembly? there are no clips to pull lid off forward? How to move lid to access lid lock assembly on this particular model? thank you

Hello Richard, thank you for your inquiry. Use the following instructions to replace the lid lock assembly:
1. Disconnect the power.
2. Unthread the screws securing the lower access panel.
3. Detach the panel and set it aside.
4. Remove the rear access panel clips.
5. Use a nut driver to unthread screws and detach the access panel.
6. Use a short flat-headed screwdriver to detach the spring clips securing the washer top panel and lid.
7. Pull the top panel forward.
8. Lift it up and set it aside.
9. Unthread the screws securing the lid lock assembly.
10. Detach the lid lock assembly wires from the retaining clip.
11. Remove the old lid lock assembly and replace it with a new one.
