Does this pole have a flat side, and measure at 41-42 inches long? I just want to confirm this is the one I'm looking for. Thanks!

Hello Derek, Thank you for the question. This pole is rounded and is not expandable. This pole only works on the side top of the tent and not the corners. The steel side roof pole attaches to the steel extendable side leg pole and helps to hold up the tent. This pole is about 23 inches long. Hope this helps!
