This is a rotary switch for LG ranges. This switch is used to turn the heating elements for your stovetop on and off, and control the heat output. If this switch has gone bad or defective in your range, it will lead to slow or inaccurate heat levels, or not heat being produced at all. This switch is a genuine OEM part that is sold individually, and depending on your model, you may need multiple of this switch, or a different switch in addition to it, so consider which parts you need to replace before ordering.

Excellent customer support
The switch is just a switch - not much to say about it. However, I had originally ordered a replacement burner based on discussion with PartSelect customer service. I have a flush range top stove and the manufacturer strongly recommends against attempting to replace the burner myself, so I contacted a local repair service who determined that the problem was with the switch, not the burner.
PartSelect cheerfully agreed to refund the cost of the burner and paid to have it shipped back to them and sent out the switch the same day..
Incidentally, the repair service rep encouraged me to get the switch from PartSelect, explaining that it would have cost more through him.

cannot control the 2 larger burner elements, they go up too high or too low but no in the middle
will replacing rotary switch fix the problem?
also are the switches the same left, and right?
For model number lsse3029bd
Hello Antonio, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the issue could be caused by a faulty switch. You may need to replace the left element switch, part number PS11761170, and the right element switch, part number PS11761169. The switch turns the surface element on and off and controls how much heat the element produces. If you need help placing an order for it, please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
Two eyes on front stay on high even when turned to low. Need part for rotary switch maybe? Thanks
For model number LG lde4413st oven
Hello Dianne, thank you for the question. According to our research, you may need to check the rotatory switch, part number PS11761170, to fix the issue. The switch is same for the both front burners. We hope this helps!

The control rotary switch for the two larger burner elements, lg ebf62174902, do they also control the temp settings turning the burners off/on? Over past year, both switches have shut off the burners way too soon for the temp setting. The ultra heat burner on front left used to achieve 425f level, now it won't exceed 325f at Max setting. The other larger burner on the right front won't exceed 275f. Will changing these rotary switches fix this problem, or is there thermostats somewhere under the glass top? Any checks i can do once the switch has been removed? Thank you.
For model number LG LSE4613ST00
Hello Brad, Thank you for the question. Yes, the switches also turn the elements on and off. Replacing the switches should fix the issue. We hope this helps.
