My base won't operate however the indicator light come on when speed is pressed.

Hello Sally, thank you for your question. If the unit won't operate but you're getting indicator lights on the unit the issue could be with the switch, Part #: PS11754927, or the motor itself. The motor is not available for replacement unfortunately.
