Is there 1 screw that hold this solenoid assy in place? Do other screws need to be removed on the gas valve to replace it. No videos?? I've worked on others and it's usually 2 seperate coils that are easily replaced, This seems to be a diff assy. Looks like a possible phillips screw.
For model number MGDB750YW1
Hi Joe, thank you for the question. Yes, there is a single screw holding the gas valve solenoid in place. It is behind the coil and not visible, but you can see it with a mirror or just note where it is on the replacement part and you will figure it out. A small screwdriver is needed to remove it. Good luck with your repair!
