Easy repair
I had to purchase both a circuit board and the control panel on the front I found the dishwasher. After looking at the instructional video, and noting how easy it looked, I decided to give it a whorl. I ord e red the parts, took a photo of the board before I took it apart, and installed everything in less than one hour.
The dishwasher is working as good as new, and the wife's happy, and when she's happy, well you know the rest.
Take the chance and do it yourself

Lights Stay on, Blink Randomly; Dishwasher Won't Run
Figuring out what was wrong: various reset methods didn't work. Since lights were blinking, it was not a fuse. Keypad ruined? Controller board ruined? I decided on the latter and ordered. 1. Removed Torx screws from the back of the washer door. 2. Removed several connectors from the circuit board, then the board itself. 3. Sat still and g

Closed the door and started a rinse cycle. 6. Waited and waited and waited while the circuit board did a reset or self-test or whatever. 7. Finally, there were no lights, started a wash cycle. 8. VOILA! It works!

"Normal Wash" & "Start" buttons not working
Initially we called a Sears Repair man and he came out only to push a few buttons and miraculously getting it to work for him. My husband and I both pushed these buttons SEVERAL times for a week and nothing! He charged us $80 for the call and told us condensation causes the control board to stick sometimes. He could replace the control bo

A day later and one complete wash later, same issue. This time I googled my model of dishwasher and happened upon your site. I found the part and we decided to fix it ourselves. The part was $190.we unscrewed the top of the dishwasher, took out the old control panel, being sure to mark the connections with tape so we knew how to put it all back together. Got the part in two days, connected it and easy peezy lemon squeezy! It all works perfectly great! I will never call an appliance repair man again without checking out this site first.

I'm able to select the wash cycles and options (led's come on and stay on), however. When i press the start button, the washer does not start. With the exception of the rubber washers, i've checked the bi-metal fuse, heating element (10ohms), door switches and high limit thermostat. is there anything else i should check prior to ordering the electronic control board?
For model number GU2300XTVB1
Hi Henry, thank you for your question. Unfortunately if all of your other parts are testing working, then it is likely the board that is the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My dishwasher isn't cleaning properly. We've completely cleaned (taken apart and reassembled) the drain and replaced the heating element. It doesn't even completely dissolve the tablets sometimes. The spray arms are in tact as well. Not sure what to do? The motor started making a loud humming?* noise during the drying cycle.
For model number Mdb8959aws5
Hello Bet, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend cleaning the spray arms and making sure that there is no blockage. If this does not help, the issue is probably related to the circulation pump and motor assembly, part number PS11703504. It pumps water through the spray arms during the cleaning cycle and also provides the force for spray arms rotations. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
