The control panel has 6 icons that are no longer working: Convect, rapid preheat,set-up, clean, more options. All others are working. In another response, i read "purchase the touchpad and control panel". However, the touchpad and control panel says it does not come with the electronic controls, that must be ordered separately. Is it both parts that need to be ordered to repair my jenn air?

Hello Jeanne, Thank you for the question. In most cases with some buttons working and others not, you will only need to replace the touchpad and the electronic controls should be fine. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Some of the numbers are no longer working on the touchpad. What part do i need?

Hi Toby,
Thank you for your question. You will likely need to replace the touchpad and control panel. I would check to see if there is any dirt or dust on the membrane on the back of the control panel. Sometimes, this may interfere in the proper operation of the control panel. I would also check the electronic control board behind the control panel to see if that is working correctly as well. If ordering the glass top #9 only does it come with installation instructions, if glass top has cracked on 2 burners do u know of s reason, and will we only need glass top #9 for replacement, my oven is a jenn aire slide n.

Thank you for your inquiry. We get our parts prepackaged from the manufacturer and they may or may not include instructions. The glass may have worn out in that spot where it cracked over the elements. If it is just the glass that is cracked then that is all you should be able to replace. I hope this helps.
