Control panel quit working
Unscrewed stainless steel control panel. Unplugged the ribbon cable that attaches the control panel into the control unit. Removed old part. Reconnected new ribbon cable and put new panel in place.

The touchpad has periodically worked for a few months on a few items but does not work at all now. Do I need to buy the entire part or is it a connection issue?

Hi Silvano, Thank you for the question. You can take the panel apart first and make sure there is no build up on the electrical ribbons where the touch pad plugs into the board. Make sure they are secure and plugged in properly. If this doesn't fix the issue the entire part will need to be replaced. Hope this helps!
