Easy repair
The part I ordered was exactly what I needed, I was running the water to wash a load of clothes, water started running from the front and side of washer. I ordered the part but I wasn’t sure if it was what I needed but it solved the problem, arrived in a timely manner.

My elderly parents have an 78 year old Whirlpool, it appears that the drain hose inside the machine (could seek drip when machine raised) is dripping from small tear. They live in a small town and are getting the run around by people that sold them the machine. They have a drop down drain hose since leak underneath concrete. Just need hose that attaches to the drain connection (when machine lifted from back upper left hand side and to go through back of machine and we can use corrugated hose to run it out from garage to yard since they do not have hose that u-hose drops down into. Please help...
For model number WTW5200VQ1 and Serial: CW4430547
Hi Glenda,
Thank you for your question. Well this part that you have inquired under, this is your regular corrugated drain hose. I am thinking that you may need the drain hose extension kit? That part actually has that u-shaped hard plastic part on one end. I have linked that part below. Both would be drain hoses for your appliance. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
