Top load Kenmore washer starts to agitate before water fills. Is this most likely a timer problem?
For model number 110.29822800
Hello Roger and thanks for writing.
Usually, when this happens, it is because of the load sense switch. The relay in the switch sticks and allows the washer agitate to before it fills. A simple check is to access the load sense switch and unplugging the wires to it. Then check the operation. We hope this helps. Please contact us at any time

Washer is not allowing water in the tub. Screens are clean and I have good water pressure
For model number 110.29822800
Hello Anthony, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the Water Valve. Set your multitester to the R X 1 ohms setting to test for continuity. Place each of the multitester's leads on a terminal. Your multitester should display a reading between 200 and 500 ohms. Closely examine your water inlet valve. The exact ohm resistance rating you should test for may be marked on the valve. We hope this helps!
