I tested the vent wax motor and the result is 1395 ohms. Is this part ok ? I ask this question because a replaced the bi-metal fuse and after only 4 or 5 washes the bi-metal fuse has blown again. I'm looking for the problem.
For model number mdb7609aww2
Hello and thank you for writing.
The wax motor should have a resistance of approximately 1900 ohms at room temperature. So yours is too low unless it was not tested at room temperature. You should test your door switch PS11745501 and your high limit thermostat PS11743423 to make sure those parts check out ok. We hope this helps.
