The freezer handle came off and i am missing one of the black pieces that go into the end of the handle that screws tighten into. I don't need the handle, just the black piece. Can i just get that part?

Today i inquired about the set screws that hold the freezer door to the mounting screws. Your response was that the set screws are supplied with a new handle. In a previously supplied question on your site, the answer to a similar question was that the set screws were supplied separately. A part number for the set screws was given but is incorrect as it refers to a Philips screw. Please clarify how to get the set screws.

Hello Danny, thank you for your question. The model number presented for the other question that indicated the set screw was separate was MF12568AES12. Your model is MFI2568AES. For your specific model the set screw is only available by ordering the handle. I hope this helps.

Will this fit Amana freezer door? They have discontinued the handle and I can't find something that will work

My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. Hope this helps!

How do you tighten this handle on the door? What size allen wrench?

Thank you for your questions. To tighten the screws for the refrigerator door handle you will need to use a 3/32 inch Allen wrench and to tighten mounting studs you will need a number 2 Phillips head screw driver. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
