This part is the replacement shelf support for your refrigerator/freezer. It is made of white plastic and is approximately 1 inch by 1 inch. The shelf support attaches to the side of your refrigerator wall and supports the shelf. If your shelf is sagging or will not stay in place, you may need to replace the support. To replace the support, use a wrench to turn the support clockwise until you can use a flat blade screwdriver to pop it out. Push the new support into the hole left by the old one until it is flush with the liner, then use the wrench to turn it clockwise until it locks in. This part is sold individually and is and OEM part.

Hi, I removed the broken shelf silupport as directed with the flatvjlhead screwdriver and pliers. However the old bracket broke off inside the insertion hoke on the freezer wall. Any tips on how to proceed? Thank you

Hi Deirdre, thank you for a very interesting question. Please follow these steps to overcome your issue.
1- Turn off the power to your refrigerator by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker that supplies electricity to the appliance.
2- Locate the broken bracket inside the insertion hole in the freezer wall.
3- Use a pair of needle-nose pliers to grip the bracket and try to twist it counterclockwise to remove it from the insertion hole.
4- If the bracket won't come out or breaks further, use a drill or screw extractor to remove it. Choose a drill bit or extractor that's slightly smaller than the diameter of the broken bracket and carefully drill into the center of the bracket. Once you have a hole, insert the screw extractor and turn it counterclockwise to remove the bracket.
5- After removing the broken bracket, use a small brush or vacuum to remove any debris or dust inside the insertion hole.
6- Install the new shelf support according to the manufacturer's instructions.
7- Turn the power back on to your refrigerator and test the new shelf support to make sure it's secure.
We hope this sorts out your problem!

Fixed after years.
I finally got around to fixing this broken support clip. Was easy to fix. Popped out old support clip. Pushed new clip in, then pushed small pin in to lock the clip in to the wall. Easy.

wrong part
The part you sent was the WRONG PART. Since then I have found that the manufacturer's original part # 12015002 has been discontinued. Your website picture of the part was misleading and/or the image was too small to properly identify.
