Broken Door Latch Handle
My hand was broken for some time. I decided to replaced the latch assembly also. Started to find a part and fix it. PartSelect was an excellent choice. Parts were easy to find with the model number. The fix was very easy. 1. powered off dishwasher at breaker panel. 2. removed the screws attaching the inside of the door panel. 3. raised u

p panel while disconnecting the four door latch cables.. 4. Handle was broken so it just fell off the latch. CAUTION - handle can be put on backwards - "my experience". re-Installed the handle correctly, 5. installed the four cables back on the latch. 6. placed the inside door panel back in its correct position. 7. installed the screws. 8. turned power back on. I needed new control panel and latch assy. Removed ten screws on door and replaced latch, very easy. The hard part is removing the circuit board and replacing in new panel. It has two screws in it and some snap fittings on the panel that are a bit difficult but I got er dun.

Broken latch handle. Washer would not start.
Replacement parts were an exact fit. This always a concern when part numbers have been replaced with a new part number. Removed torx screws from door. Separated door shell, unplugged two micro switches, removed old latch and handle, replaced with new. Previous on line advice was helpful, but repair easy and quick.

Door lock would not engage. So since the door wouldn't lock, the dishwasher wouldn't run. (it's safety mechanism)
I removed the door panel by unscrewing the 12 allen screws and found that the handle hinges broke & latch assembly locking gear was worn down...just normal wear & tear. this diagnostic process just took 45 minutes...remove the door, identify the problem, remove the parts, reassemble the door. I then ordered the parts online.
