Does the power nut kit come with one or two nuts?

Do you want to correct your answer to the question “how many nuts are included”? Because the fact is, there is only one nut included in the package.

Hi Nick, Thank you for your question. You are correct, this kit includes one power nut and 2 retaining washers. Please accept our apologies for the the mis-information in the previous answer we provided. It is recommended to replace both nuts at the same time and you will need to purchase 2 kits. My jenn air after 10 seconds in cycle begins to vibrate loudly- i have checked the chain drive and sprocket- chain is tight and sprocket not stripped. Could it be the trunnion nuts?

Hi Michael, Thank you for your inquiry. It is possible nuts could be causing the issue. You may have to check for blockages and the screws as well. If this does not work the trash compactor may need some lubrication. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

locking nut was stripped
After calling a repair man and being told my appliance was to old for him to repair I discovered your website. I simply entered the model number and a picture of the part I was looking for was easily found. I ordered online and received the replacement parts 5 day's later. I simply swapped out the old locking nuts with the new ones from your website and the repair was complete. What could have been an easy $100 repair cost a fraction of that and the trash compactor is working just fine.
