Easy fix for a beat up looking dishwasher door front.
My dishwasher door front control panel looked pretty bad. Was considering replalcing the entire door when I saw this part that basically sticks on over the old panel. Works great. Looks great. East do do. Only draw back is that it is expensive. Despite the cost, it's better and cheaper than other alternatives.

Simple repair.
Just peel of the old insert, clean off as much of the old adhesive that you can that stayed behind and just stick on the new panel insert. This is an exact replacement.

Can I just transfer the old face plate or panel onto the new control panel?
For model number KUDS24SEWH5
Hello Joy,
Thanks for your question. Yes, it can be transferred to the new control panel. You may need a putty knife to remove the old face plate insert if it is glued in tightly.
I hope this helps.

I have ordered and hope to receive tomorrow control panel-white ps11747086 and want to know if i can just transfer the old control panel insert # ps11747076 to the new panel. It looks possible & easy on your layout diagram? Do you have instructions or suggestions?
For model number KUDS24SEWH5
Hi Joy, Thank you for the question. The insert is glued to the console panel. You can use a putty knife to pry the insert from the console and stick the new one into place. Hope this helps!

In reference to my last question = i have ordered & hope to receive today a new control panel-white ps11747086, and desire to remove the old control panel insert from the old control panel and transfer it to the new control panel and re glue it . You said to remove it with a putty knife, is it likely that i can do that safely without damaging it and then re-glue it to the new control panel?? i guess i am worried about damaging it as i try to remove it thanks for your help

Hi Joy,
Thank you for the follow up. You should be able to do that with a putty knife, you would just have to be careful as you are removing the part. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
